At the heart of the Little Seeds experience is a thoughtful curriculum rooted in the science of play-based learning.

Young learners at Little Seeds are immersed in a dynamic, hands-on environment rich with opportunities to connect their natural curiosity to fundamental educational concepts.

Quality play time in our “organic laboratory” has prepared hundreds of students with the confidence and passion to thrive, socially and academically, in elementary school and beyond!

Classes

Little Seeds hosts two daily class sessions - custom developed by our expert educators and guided by the developmental needs of each cohort.

The Sprouts

Ages 2 to 3 ½ years

8:30 AM - 11:30 AM

The youngest members of our Little Seeds community begin in The Sprouts class. Our small class size and experienced teachers make for an ideal first educational experience away from home!

In the Sprouts, students will become comfortable working in an educational routine, develop crucial social-emotional skills with peers, and be encouraged to express themselves through rich invitations in process art, sensory play, music, and so much more!

The Saplings

Ages 3½ to 5 years

12:30 AM - 3:30 PM (w/ option to stay until 4:30 PM)

The Saplings is an afternoon session offered to students in the older preschool cohort. This class continues the work begun as a toddler while introducing a balanced amount of Kindergarten-readiness workshops designed to prepare students to thrive at the next level.

Little Seeds educators are masters at presenting this material in a deeply exploratory, open-ended style that respects the fundamental learning needs of preschoolers while stimulating a natural curiosity about academics.

Outdoors Everyday

Little Seeds students are immersed in our outdoor classroom - including in our native pollinator learning garden - every day, rain or shine!
Exploring Food

Both our toddler and preschool programs include unique curricula designed to foster a deeper appreciation for our food.
From organic vegetable gardening to scratch-made cooking and more, Little Seeds students are invited to gather around the table for learn thru hands-on experience.
Sensory Magic

Our educators are deeply experienced in the art and science of play that engages the senses.
By focusing on interacting with natural elements, exploring texture and sound, and providing for ample open-ended exploration of all materials, we create a mentally calm and emotionally balanced environment that leaves students receptive to learning.
